NAN Health Directors Resources

Our Health Directors are the boots on the ground – the people who know what health and wellness look like in their communities and who work every day to make it happen. The Health Directors Resources Page will be a space designed just for them.

This Page will:

  • Share resources, templates, and planning tools.
  • Provide updates on regional and local health planning.
  • Offer a space to review reports from past Forums and Gatherings.

This section will grow as our work moves forward, offering secure access to planning supports and collaborative tools built specifically for First Nations health leadership.

What We Heard Reports

Standards of Care

The service standards we’re building are one piece of the larger Health Transformation project.

They are recommendations for services that are informed and reassessed by First Nations to set a precedent for the minimum standards for what people should expect when receiving health care, building programs in their community, or becoming healthcare providers themselves.

The template for service standards provides a guide for holistic care that follows throughout the lifespan (so that includes resources, prevention, program outlines)

These are not prescribed programs or services imposed on communities – instead they’re informed by NAN First Nations and can be tailored to fit what communities want, need, or have capacity for.
